Phu Quoc, also known as Dao Ngoc in Vietnam and Koh Tral in Cambodia, is 50 km long and 22 km wide, with a population of 85,000. The island's capital is Duong Dong, located on the northwest side, while the other city, An Thoi, is at the southern end. The average temperature on Phu Quoc is 28 º C, with the warmest period between April and May, when temperatures can reach 35 º C.
